The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and passionate Angular Front-End Developer to join our innovative team at HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing features and applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience within our cutting-edge energy solutions.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Angular.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional, responsive user interfaces.

  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and architectural patterns.

  • Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality and reliability.

  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, addressing performance bottlenecks.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying and resolving defects in a timely manner.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development and Angular.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.


Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven experience as an Angular Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of Angular (versions 2+) framework, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, npm, yarn).

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.

  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in an agile environment.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
