Pay Range
$37.50 - $56.25Major Responsibilities:
OPERATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION:
CONSULTATION:
1)Utilizes appropriate empirical evidence, theories and framework to provide assessment of practice and processes.
2)Uses current evidence to analyze data and develop recommendations and strategies to address complex issues and identify opportunities for improvement
3)Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and effective communication skills to engage in collaborative relationships and involve stakeholders and other members of the team.
4)Communicates recommendations and facilitates team members understanding to effect appropriate evidence based change.
5)Uses current clinical knowledge and expertise to assist with reports of team activity by using appropriate visual tools to display outcomes and document opportunities for improvement or highlight achievements as compared to current evidence.

1)Supports evidence based practice and research activities within the organization.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
1)Continually enhances knowledge related to regulatory agencies and governmental regulations.
2)Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and changes through education of team members, and interaction with assigned units and department associates.
3)Conducts tracers to establish compliance with regulatory requirements and agencies. Identifies opportunities for improvement and best practices. Shares information with team to enhance patient outcomes and achieve clinical excellence.
4)Provides consultation to clinical units on opportunities for improvement and practice changes needed in order to meet and exceed regulatory requirements.
5)Works collaboratively with leadership to explore opportunities to move data acquisition to a different status or function so that optimization can occur.
PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE/COMPETENCY
1)Meets all requirements and maintains current state RN licensure.
2)Uses current research findings and other evidence to expand knowledge, enhance role performance that supports areas of assignment. Promotes achievement of excellent clinical outcomes and performance distinction.
3)Seeks experiences to continually develop and enhance knowledge related to current methods of performance improvement.
4)Evaluates own performance on a regular basis, identifying areas of strength as well as areas in which professional development would be beneficial. Takes action on opportunities for professional growth.
Licensure:
Nurse, Registered (RN)
Education/Experience Required:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in related healthcare field; if no Bachelors, must enroll in BSN program within 2 years and complete within 5 years or equivalent experience • 3-5 years of clinical practice in a hospital setting • Knowledge in quality improvement activities and use of current evidence based practice • Knowledge of change management theory and process.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
• Proficient in spreadsheet, word processing, database, and graphic software. • Proficient in evidence based practice, critical thinking, statistical knowledge, analytical skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide variety of healthcare individuals and teams. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills • Ability to work with diverse teams and individuals
