The Center has specialized in ophthalmic surgery for 30 years. Case Assignments: This site offers advanced cataract surgery, eye muscle surgery for children and adults, as well as oculoplastic procedures. Team: Leadership Jay Lee, MD, Senior Vice President Location Facts: Schedules Include: Monday-Thursday (8 hour shift) Area Attractions: Near the Annapolis Historic District Minutes from the Annapolis Mall Various parks that offer outdoor activities Responsibilities: Assist in the directing and coordinating of Activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious ad/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements: M.D./D.O.
