Position Summary: Position requires a clinically competent registered professional nurse who provides, delegates, and coordinates nursing staff in the delivery of safe care in the AE officeActs as a resource person in problem identification and solving for our surgical patientsEffectively interacts with patients, physicians, physicians’ office staff, and other health team membersMaintains the standards of professional nursing. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assesses each patient patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs 

  • Completes documentation according to specific guidelines 

  • Demonstrates open, honest, respectful communications in all interactions 

  • Supports the Mission, Vision and Core Values and 7 Behaviors 

  • Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits  

  • Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct 

Required Qualifications:   

Education and Training: 

  • Previous experience working in Pre/Post Recovery required 

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois 

  • CPR certified 

Work Shift Details:

Days, Days, Remote availability after probation period 90-180 days

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
