You Are:

The Ancillary Portfolio Advisor is a senior subject-matter expert and strategic leader responsible for bridging the gap between a client’s enterprise ancillary strategy and the capabilities of the Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium EHR. In this role, you will guide senior leadership and solution teams through large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring the successful design, integration, and adoption of the full portfolio of ancillary solutions. Your work will support seamless, efficient, and clinically aligned workflows across the continuum of care.

The Work:

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a senior consultant to executive clinical leadership on the capabilities and strategic use of the Oracle Health ancillary portfolio.
  • Provide expert support to enterprise governance bodies to ensure sound, best-practice-driven design decisions.
  • Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional solution teams (e.g., Provider, Nursing, Ancillaries) to resolve design conflicts and ensure a unified patient record.

Solution Design & Portfolio Architecture

  • Oversee the analysis and design of complex workflows involving ancillary services across multiple departments and solutions.
  • Ensure a scalable, integrated, and strategically aligned ancillary solution architecture.
  • Provide expert guidance on leveraging Oracle Health components (e.g., MPages, Clinical Rules, Unified Medical Record) to optimize user experience and workflow efficiency.

Implementation & Program Governance

  • Provide governance over enterprise testing strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage of cross-solution workflows.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex issues and change requests that impact the broader ancillary architecture.
  • Advise on the long‑term roadmap for the ancillary portfolio, including upgrades, new modules, and optimization initiatives.

Here's What You Need:

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in clinical informatics, solution architecture, or large‑scale EHR program management within a healthcare system
  • Extensive hands-on experience with the Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium platform, with deep understanding of core solutions across ancillary systems (PowerChart, PowerOrders, PowerPlans, Clinical Documentation, major ancillaries)
  • Broad understanding of hospital and ambulatory operations, including interdependencies between ancillary and clinical departments
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide design efforts and drive standardization across ancillary workflows
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex architectural concepts for executive audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A clinical background and active license (e.g., RN, MD, RPh) is strongly preferred

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
