This is an exciting internship opportunity starting in the summer of 2026 to join the Digital Solutions Software team at Dematic. Working within this distributed team of software experts, you will help develop analytics dashboards to support Dematic project teams and our customers.
In this role, you will focus on standard dashboard work to support operational- and maintenance-based dashboards. A successful candidate will have demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation, creativity and insight in a similar role.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $19.00-$23.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

  • Works with both internal and external customer end-users to define analytics solution requirements and works with internal team to concept, build and deliver solution
  • Works independently, within teams, and with multiple types of skills (business, data architect, other technical resources)
  • Performs business process analysis, mapping and design
  • Ensures high quality delivery of software consulting services and overall client satisfaction
  • Drives development and documentation of services

What We Are Looking For

Education:

  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree and/or an advanced degree, or having equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Analytics.

Knowledge / Qualifications:

The qualifications for the position of advanced analytics intern include the following experience and skills:

  • Experience working with business users to concept, generate and deliver analytics solutions, dashboards and reporting
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL or Google BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analytics software including Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills and knowledge of software tools for crafting slides and diagrams
  • Overall knowledge of MHE technologies and warehouse systems or similar domains is preferred
  • Specific domain experience and knowledge in the logistics and supply chain industries is a plus
  • Experience conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business partners and applying solutions to customer challenges
  • Working knowledge of advanced analytic tools such as SAS, R, or Python is a plus
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based technologies is preferred
