Roche has established Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) to drive analytics & technology driven solutions by partnering with Roche affiliates across the globe. The candidate will have an option to join Chennai or Hyderabad office and would be required to come to office in a hybrid mode - the number of days the candidate is required to be in person in the office lies with the management and might change as required by the business.

Your Opportunity:

As an Analytics Lead you will:

  • Work closely with the business stakeholders from the commercial team to define the project objectives and scope

  • Work on Brand Performance tracking, Disease Market Overview, Patient Journeys (Treatment and Drug Fulfilment), Forecasting, Product launch support and assessment, Patient adherence, Physician/Account Targeting, Payer Mix, Marketing Impact and ROIs

  • Lead pharma data explorations, data deep dives and recommend data sources for analysis

  • Lead the team and stakeholder discussions, act as thought partner and provide them with high quality analytics solutions and recommendations

  • Develop presentations to communicate key insights, recommendations to the stakeholders

  • Understand the stakeholder needs, prioritize and manage the day to day tasks accordingly

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously depending on the requirements

  • Motivate, mentor and coach the junior members on the team and help them grow

  • Conduct training programs to develop subject matter expertise in the team

  • Be involved in the decision making and make significant contributions across key initiatives to help grow the GATE team

Business Functions:

Marketing Analytics:

o   Experience in marketing analytics such as patient journey, Customer Segmentation and targeting, customer and patient spread, market and treatment landscaping, epidemiology

o   Expertise in working with a variety of secondary data including but not limited to Claims, affiliations, personal and non-personal promotions, Payer, etc.

o   Exposure to the therapeutic areas such as oncology, neurology, immunology, CardioVascular, Rare Diseases is an added advantage

Sales and Field Force Analytics:

o   Experience in Sales analytics such as HCP and account level sales insights, forecasting,  impact assessment/ ROI, sales force effectiveness, sub national analysis of sales

o   Expertise in working with a variety of secondary data including but not limited to sales, affiliations, personal and non-personal promotions, geographical data(zip-county-state-designated market area-region-country), etc.

o   Exposure to alignment, segmentation and targeting, response modelling, incentive compensation processes is preferable

Who you are:

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in B Tech / B.E. - Any Specialization (Computer Science preferred) and 5-8 years of experience in the analytics / consulting space out of which 4-6 years of experience in delivering analytics projects, especially in the Pharma /Biotech / Healthcare domain. Preferably, you have a Master's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, Computer Science or related field

  • Any certifications on analytics or data science would be an added advantage

  • Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to and fielding questions from stakeholders

  • Strong work ethic coupled with high motivation and a go-getter attitude

  • High attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset

  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite and Google Suite (Sheets and Slides), SQL and Python

  • Good to have working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, QuickView, Alteryx, etc

  • Experience in one or more of the above business functions
