Analyst, Workday Reporting

The HRIS Analyst supports the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Working under the guidance of the HRIS manager or senior analyst, this role assists with system configuration, testing, reporting, and troubleshooting to support Human Resources operations.

The analyst partners with HR teams to help design, implement, and maintain Workday solutions that support business needs across areas such as HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and People Analytics. This role is ideal for someone beginning their HR systems or HRIS career who is interested in developing technical and analytical skills within Workday.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities (85%)

  • Assist with configuring, testing, and maintaining Workday business processes and system functionality to support HR operations.

  • Help design and implement solutions that improve HR processes and data management.

  • Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements, system procedures, and testing scripts.

  • Support testing activities for system updates and enhancements.

  • Help ensure data accuracy and integrity within Workday.

  • Assist HR teams with data loads and data updates using tools such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).

  • Provide day-to-day support for Workday including user access, role changes, data updates, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR leaders and business teams.

  • Participate in Workday system updates and releases by testing functionality and identifying potential impacts.
     

Strategic & Business Support (15%)

  • Partner with HR teams and business stakeholders to understand system needs and recommend improvements.

  • Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

  • Research new Workday features and capabilities to identify opportunities for system improvements.

  • Support project or testing efforts by helping manage timelines, documentation, and testing scenarios.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, Analytics, or a related field

  • 1–2 years of experience in HR systems, HRIS, data analysis, or related technical roles

  • Basic understanding of HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle

  • Strong Excel skills (such as pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis)

  • Ability to analyze data, systems, and processes to identify improvements

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Workday or other HRIS platforms

  • Experience supporting system implementations or upgrades

  • Workday certification or training

  • Experience with generative AI/LLMs

At Inmar, compensation reflects our belief in integrity, transparency, and the value of individual contributions. The hiring range for this position is:

63,065.00 - 100,687.00 USD Annual

The final offer may vary based on factors such as geographic location, job-related skills, education, certifications, work experience, and other relevant considerations.

Depending on the job level and role, it may include:
