MUFG is seeking an Analyst, Transaction Banking Client Services to join their team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Transaction Banking (TB) offers essential banking products and services for corporate clients, including channels and accounts for Trade & Supply Chain Finance and Cash Management.
This encompasses liquidity management, payments, collections, trade and supply chain finance.
What You'll Do:
As an Analyst, Transaction Banking Client Implementation, you will support the onboarding and implementation of transaction banking across trade, cash management and digital channel solutions. You will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, regional teams, and IT to deliver seamless implementations while ensuring compliance, risk management, and operational standards are met.
Responsibilities:
Strategic
Support the execution of the department's strategy to embed MUFG Bank in the flow business of our clients.
Financial
Partner with sales team to support client activities and contribute to division's financial target.
Customer
Act as first-level support for client queries on e-channels, cash, and trade product services.
Deliver high-quality service to internal and external clients to enhance the bank’s reputation.
Assist clients with account management, online transactions, uploads, and online capture.
Troubleshoot login, payment-related, and account-related online banking issues.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
Other/ Control
Develop knowledge of transaction banking products to provide the right level of support to clients and the wider departments.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
Adhere to all company policies / guidelines.
What You Will Bring:
To excel in this role, you will bring experience from the financial services sector—ideally working with cash management and trade solutions. You should have both technical expertise in these products and handling client’s enquiries. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for handling clients while maintaining a strong client service journey. Your interpersonal skills will enable seamless collaboration across departments, whether supporting sales or liaising with project teams. A solid educational foundation underpins your expertise, but your commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing truly sets you apart.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or higher learning institution.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in transaction banking and services (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Good understanding of cash management, trade finance products, and digital banking platforms.
Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
Ability to analyse issues and propose practical solutions.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and basic computer operation knowledge.
High attention to detail, risk awareness, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance requirements, and operational risk controls are an advantage.
