Analyst, Strategy & Business Planning – Private Credit Liquidity Solutions

New York, New York Full time

Position Overview

The Private Credit Liquidity Solutions (PCLS) team is part of Apollo’s Capital Solutions platform, focused on providing liquidity across private credit and structured products. The team specializes in trading asset-backed securities, private credit, and other alternative fixed-income instruments. The team combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative, entrepreneurial approach to deliver tailored solutions to institutional clients. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, analytically minded business operator to help build and scale a differentiated business at the intersection of private markets, credit, and market structure.

The Role

The PCLS team is seeking an Analyst to join the team in a high-exposure role responsible for the development, execution, and management of a broad range of growth initiatives and business priorities across PCLS. Working closely with the business team, the role focuses on day-to-day business management alongside the execution of PCLS’s strategic priorities.

This role is designed to act as a force multiplier for senior leadership, translating strategic priorities into executable workstreams across trading, data, technology, and external partnerships. The Analyst will help bring structure and accountability to a fast-growing and complex business.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, a relationship builder, and a self-starter – who can leverage prior experience working in or alongside Credit Trading teams to support strategic initiatives, external partnerships, and overall performance. Immediate or near-term start date strongly preferred. This role does not carry direct revenue or trading responsibility, but partners closely with trading, coverage, and leadership teams to support business growth and market development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop internal and external presentations that articulate business strategy, market opportunity, and execution plans for senior leadership and partners
  • Partner with senior leaders to define the core business model, growth priorities, and market positioning, including evaluation of strategic and marketplace partnerships
  • Add structure to team workflows and priority setting by organizing initiatives, sequencing workstreams, and clarifying ownership across the platform
  • Conduct market structure and TAM analyses to assess growth opportunities, product expansion, and potential market entry structures
  • Own management of reference data across trading and market activity, including trade data, market data, and track record maintenance
  • Lead and prioritize multiple concurrent strategic, operational, and technology workstreams, bringing structure and execution discipline to a fast-moving business
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across ACS, Finance, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Client & Product Solutions
  • Support leadership communications and reporting, including preparation of materials, databases, and meeting cadence

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate institution with strong academic performance
  • 2–3 years of experience in asset management, capital markets, investment banking, consulting, or corporate strategy
  • Experience working across legal, operations, technology, and investment teams in a fast-moving environment is preferred
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to bring structure, prioritization, and clarity to ambiguous business builds
  • Strong PowerPoint, written, and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior audiences
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and independent workstreams
  • Strong market knowledge, modeling, and analytical skillset with high attention to detail
