The Sales Insights Analyst plays a critical role in shaping data-driven sales strategy by leveraging a deep understanding of the sales funnel—from lead to install. The role is responsible for measuring performance across each stage of the funnel, evaluating return on investment (ROI), and using insights to guide leader decision-making. Using raw data, to identify trends, issues, and opportunities, transforming complex datasets to gain a holistic-view of employee metrics and automate processes to streamline output. They will deliver enterprise-wide dashboards & reports that improve visibility and understanding of sales metrics. They will provide clear, value-added commentary to support decision-making, helping the business identify gaps and unlock opportunities to exceed revenue and sales targets.
Maintaining high-level competency and alignment of key metrics, pipeline funnel, and KPIs as well as the ability to gain new skills within data analytics tools and systems will be key to success in this role.
Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in data reporting & analytics initiatives.
Filter, clean, organize, and prepare data reports while implementing formula corrections or additions.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Own the delivery of accurate and timely weekly, monthly and quarterly sales KPI reporting.
Streamline reporting processes through automation, reducing manual reporting time.
Deliver enterprise-wide dashboards & reports that support strategic decision-making.
Implement data analytic methodologies to process results, using storytelling to explain trends & outcomes.
Ensure all outputs—such as dashboards, decks and scorecards—clearly communicate performance and drive action.
Improve visibility & understanding of the sales pipeline with granularity that enables our ability to track detailed performance through the funnel levels e.g. lead to install right down to rep level insight e.g. productivity by seller.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate technical insights into clear, business-focused language to improve understanding of results.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to ensure alignment and engagement.
Act as a trusted business partner to Sales Leaders and internal/external stakeholders, empowering them with actionable insights and strategic direction that aligns to the specific priorities for each leader and cohort.
