TD Securities (TDS) is a top-two dealer in Canada with a growing US business and global execution capabilities, offering a full suite of capital markets and corporate and investment banking products. Global Foreign Exchange (FX) is a key contributor to the overall success of TDS, delivering revenue and liquidity to the firm from various sales and trading business lines. Within North America, FX sales comprises of the following business units: Corporate, Institutional, Commercial and Retail.
This role supports the Retail FX and Precious Metals business within Global FX with a focus on managing and delivering foreign exchange and precious metals across TD Bank's Canadian franchise.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to a dynamic work environment while performing their job function at a high level and managing their time and priorities effectively.
The primary function of this role is managing the overall client experience while driving meaningful revenue. The Analyst is responsible for supporting precious metal sales, both digital and physical. The Analyst will be a primary point of contact for internal and external partners and clients. They will be relied upon to provide product expertise, handle client inquiries, resolve branch/client escalations, and support day-to-day maintenance of the TD Precious Metals E-Commerce website and internal Branch Precious Metals sales platform. The Analyst will act as conduit between the front office sales and operations, product, marketing and third-party vendors (i.e. vaulting, armored car delivery, etc). There is a strong need to innovate, streamline & automate as the business evolves with a focus on digitization. The individual will need to ensure that desk procedures and policies are maintained, adhered to and updated as required. The role will additionally support the Retail and Wealth Foreign Exchange & Precious Metals Product business.
Reporting to the Director, Precious Metals Distribution – Retail & Wealth, objectives of the role are to:
Provide an exceptionally high level of customer service by assisting internal/external partners and client inquiries through a group email inbox and phone lines
Manage, maintain and monitor precious metals sale activity and product inventories for distribution
Investigate and resolve employee and client concerns
Build out new and improve existing product offerings for customers
Act as a product and subject matter expert for both clients and employees of the retail bank
Innovate with purpose – seek opportunities to automate and drive efficiencies
Support day-to-day maintenance of the TD Precious Metals e-commerce website (i.e. co-ordination of new product launches, deployment testing, etc.)
Willingness to identify market threats/opportunities and share insights with the business
Job Requirements:
Experience in customer service and sales
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills for interacting with partners at all levels across the bank
Self-starter, motivated towards improving and developing the business
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Strategic and innovative approach to developing plans and programs that move the business forward
Deep appreciation of the customer mindset, with an ability to build strategies around their needs and requirements
Ability to navigate through the organization and work with internal teams – Operations, Product teams, Technology Support, etc.
Ability to create a narrative from supplied data and assemble visual aids that cater to various audiences (eg. PowerPoints, job aids, newsletters)
Experience with digital sales and/or e-commerce is beneficial but not required
Experience and understanding of retail banking, foreign exchange, and precious metals is an asset
Experience leading, managing, and executing on multiple projects / initiatives in parallel
French communication skills (verbal and written) are of high value for this position
Completion of an undergraduate degree
