About your team

The CFO and CE Cloud Technology function provides systems development, implementation and support services for FIL’s Corporate enabler’s Team.  We support several functions spanning across Business Finance & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting & Analytics, Taxation, Global Procurement, Corporate Treasury, and several other teams in all of FIL’s international locations, including UK, Japan, China and India.

 

We provide IT services to the Fidelity International businesses, globally. These include development and support of business functions that underpin our financial accounting and decision making for global CFO Orgs, and we implement multiple systems including ERP platforms, home grown apps and third party products.  We are system providers to key process lifecycles such as Procure to Pay (P2P/Global Procurement), Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C) and Acquire to Retire (A2R). We also manage systems to enable cash management, forex trading and treasury operations across the Globe. We own warehouses that consolidate data from across the organisations functions to provide meaningful insights.

 

About your role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong development background. This role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Experience and Qualification:

 

  • B.E./ B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University

  • Total 3-5 years of experience with application development.

 

Essential Skills

  • Proven use of AI in SDLC to bring efficiency and faster development.

  • Strong expertise in OOPS Concepts with extensive experience in Java 8 and Above.

  • Strong Experience in Spring Framework, Microservice Architecture, Application Security, Authentication (Basic Auth, JWT, Oauth2), Authorization, Public/Private Key

  • Hands on Experience in Containers (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Write code using Stream API and Lambda Functions, Basic Datastructure and Algorithm based questionsGood experience and hands-on knowledge of PL/SQL (Packages/Functions/Ref cursors).

  • Clean Code Concepts, DevSecOps skills like SAST, DAST.

  • Experience of Source Control Tools (GIT preferred)

  • Experience of using job scheduling tools (Control-M preferred)

  • Exposure of continuous integration toolsets like Jenkins

  • Experience in CI/CD, TDD, DevOps, CI/CD tools - Jenkins/UrbanCode/SonarQube/ Bamboo.

  • Experience in working in Algie scrum model.

 

Good to have

  • Exposure to Cloud (AWS) technologies and designing cloud native applications preferably AWS

  • Experience in Python, UNIX and Shell scripting

  • Exposure to Agile (Scrum) development practices
