Job Description:

The Prime Brokerage Account Management team provides high‑quality client service and support to institutional hedge fund clients within Bank of America’s Prime platform. The role partners closely with senior relationship managers to deliver a responsive, solutions‑oriented client experience across financing, margin, and Prime Services.

This role sits at the intersection of client relationship management, financing, operations, and risk, providing exposure to the full Prime Services lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior Account Managers / Relationship Managers in the day‑to‑day coverage of hedge fund Prime clients
  • Act as a day‑to‑day client contact for assigned Prime accounts
  • Deliver timely, accurate responses to client enquiries across financing, margin, settlements, corporate actions, and reporting
  • Build trusted working relationships with client operations, finance, and trading teams
  • Proactively manage service issues, coordinate internal resolution, and escalate where appropriate
  • Support client onboarding, account setup, and ongoing lifecycle management
  • Monitor client balances, margin utilisation, and exposures to anticipate client needs
  • Prepare client reporting, service reviews, and materials for client meetings
  • Coordinate internally with Trading, Securities Lending, Operations, Risk, Credit, Legal, and Technology
  • Operate within firm risk, compliance, and control frameworks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Prime Brokerage, Equity Financing, Derivatives, or Institutional Client Servicing
  • Strong client‑service mindset with clear, professional communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Prime Brokerage, margin, and financing processes (or strong aptitude to learn)
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation markets environment
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and teamwork
