Purpose

To be the CME partner of the Client Coverage and the Product Specialist teams with the aim of driving business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for customers. The position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to develop his or her credit risk and financial analysis skills, client relationship management skills, and to play a key role in driving superior client outcomes and delivering world class client relationships.

Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements

Essential capabilities

  • To write credit submissions, annual reviews and client core information papers clearly and succinctly;
  • To understand risk management and financial analysis;
  • To assist in pricing of transactions;
  • To assist in the production of financial models for transactions

Other capabilities

  • Moderate to advanced Excel skills;

Experience

  • Prior experience in banking including experience with credit and compliance processes;
  • Experience working with and contributing to a team environment

Qualification Requirements

  • Undergraduate qualification in law, finance, business or accounting

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support portfolio maintenance activities including portfolio administration, monitoring of facility documentation and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of system data;
  • Undertaking financial and credit risk analysis for the preparation of new credit submissions and annual reviews of existing transactions;
  • Continuously seek to optimise the return on capital deployed and resources invested by the business
  • Workflow management between Client Coverage, CME, Product Specialists, Credit and client support teams, including IB Services, to achieve a seamless client experience;
  • Attend client meetings where appropriate to support business outcomes and conduct research to develop sector expertise and awareness of market trends; and
  • Maintain an ongoing awareness of NAB’s credit policies, credit and market risk and internal risk appetite.
