The function
Primarily involved in supporting the Corporate Finance team in originating, structuring and executing M&A transactions.
Key responsibilities
Role criteria / competencies
Analysts have an academic degree reflecting above average numerical and analytical competency. Suitable candidates furthermore have a high energy level, strong commercial drive, attention to detail, ability to work time-efficiently within a team setting and proven experience in M&A transactions, financial modeling (DCF, LBO), stress testing, and quantitative analysis across multiple asset classes.

ING Wholesale Banking is the Corporate and Investment Banking division of ING Group. It is an international business with a network of offices around the world. Within ING WB, the Corporate Finance department is the primary point of contact for advisory relationships with corporates, private equity and governments, leading the execution of often high profile M&A transactions. ING CF adopts a sector-based approach, putting together client teams across borders to reflect local relationships and product specialists and to ensure the highest standards of transaction execution.
The Amsterdam office of ING CF is responsible for the origination and execution of transactions in a Dutch domestic and cross-border context, and is the main hub of ING WB’s Global Corporate Finance team. The team consistently has leading positions in the Benelux league tables, both on a value and volume basis. Typical advisory transactions include mergers, acquisitions, disposals, public offers and equity issues.
