About the role:

This is a full-time virtual position with a work schedule of 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern time.  This role is part of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization and is responsible for supporting FIS’s mergers, acquisitions and divestiture activities including supplier and process integration and management of transition activities.

About the team:

This role works closely with other SCM colleagues in Category Management, Procurement Operations, Contracting and Sourcing, as well as business lines, Legal and M&A organizations to ensure effect integrations and separations.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate as part of a small 3–5-person team focused on supporting procurement activities related to the divestiture of a business unit, including Sourcing, Contracting, Procurement Operations, and Corporate Travel.
  • Document and baseline processes for supplier dispositions and manage contractual agreements to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop executive reporting, status reports and tracking mechanisms to ensure that overall Program goals and tracked and communicated.
  • Provide support Transition Services Agreements (TSAs) to facilitate a seamless transition during the divestiture process.  TSAs include Sourcing/Contracting, Contractors/Temp Labor, Procurement Operation (PR/PO) and Corporate/Employee Travel
  • Manage day-to-day contract separation process including alignment with joint procurement organizations, management of Adoption Agreements, analysis of risks/issues and mitigation of potential impacts to FIS.
  • Support leadership and FIS functional owners in creating and managing project plans and supporting day-to-day transition actions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities and develop contingency plans as needed.

What you bring:

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Procurement process, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing and savings management
  • Knowledge of M&A processes and frameworks, including Transition Services Agreements, governance models and risk management.
  • Strong project management skills including milestone identification, project planning, RACI models, KPI tracking, and reporting
  • 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Buying, Project or Program Management
  • Strong MS Office Skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Required work hours:  9am-6pm ET
  • Overtime required: rarely, but as needed / not applicable (salaried)
  • Weekends required: none
  • Travel percentage for this role: 5-10%

  • Fintech industry experience or Management Consulting experience
  • Experience with Oracle, Ariba, or other ERP/Procurement tools
  • Supplier/Client relationship management skills
