About the role:

In your role as an Analyst at MUFG you will provide IT and Telecommunications systems support to MUFG internal employees, resolving or escalating technical issues in a timely and professional manner.  You will ensure prompt and accurate customer service by addressing user service desk tickets and answering the helpdesk hotline.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide Level 1 support and deliver extraordinary service to customers to enhance function's reputation and meet customer's expectations
  • Ensure the proper handling and resolution of service desk tickets, escalating complex tickets to the appropriate person / department
  • Troubleshoot end user computer devices including laptops, desktops, printers, and wireless devices
  • Support remote users including VPN client and connectivity
  • Provide collaboration tool support including MS Teams, WebEx to staff in Oceania
  • Work in partnership with users to support implementation of global and regional IT projects and co-ordinate administration activities including but not limited to project meetings and training sessions

What we are looking for:

This position will suit someone who wants to grow and develop, who already has an existing broad range of technologies under their belt.

  • 1 - 2 years experience in IT Desktop support role
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Hands on experience working with Windows and MS Office
  • Sound knowledge of Windows 10/11, M365 and business telephony
  • Previous experience but not essential in collaboration tools e.g., WebEx, MS Teams.
  • Previous experience in mobile device support e.g., iPhone and Android
  • Good understanding on IT Support & Services policies, processes and IT infrastructure technical support
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and find the root causes for technical problems
  • Communicate with confidence when engaging with internal clients and provide outstanding customer service
  • Ability to support ongoing projects and upgrades
  • Ability to work in rostered shifts (Morning, Day and Afternoon shifts)
