Support the execution of operational, documentation, and administrative processes related to import and export activities, ensuring compliance with the IMMEX program and current customs regulations.
Ensure adherence to U.S. Customs requirements to successfully complete operations, while contributing to the accurate control and management of foreign trade inventory.
About your role:
Customs Documentation Management (40%)
Prepare and review customs documentation (invoices, entries/pedimentos, certificates of origin, packing lists, reports, etc.) for import and export operations under IMMEX programs, ensuring compliance with Mexican and U.S. customs requirements.
Logistics Coordination (15%)
Coordinate with customs brokers (Mexico & U.S.), carriers, freight forwarders, and the shipping department to ensure accurate and timely documentation for shipments.
Annexes 24 & 30 Control (15%)
Support the validation and reconciliation of customs entries against Annex 24 systems, as well as maintain and update databases in compliance with Annex 24 and 30 requirements.
Regulatory Compliance (10%)
Monitor compliance with foreign trade regulations (trade agreements, non-tariff regulations, Rule 8, etc.).
Document Administration (10%)
Collect, review, and archive (physically and electronically) all required documentation for IMMEX and U.S. customs operations.
Internal Audits (10%)
Participate in internal audits related to the IMMEX program, including report generation, documentation delivery, and questionnaire responses.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in similar roles.
Knowledge of import/export processes.
Experience with SAT and VUCEM platforms.
Experience with Annex 24 systems (Annex 30 is a plus).
Intermediate Excel skills.
Knowledge of tariff classification (preferred).
