Analyst III, Technology Planning and Governance (Contract)

As an Analyst III, Technology Planning and Governance, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective project governance, accurate financial tracking, and streamlined intake and project management processes within the PMO.

Contract Term: 6 months.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Business Analysis and Governance.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $71,408 - $99,971.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Create and activate projects in Jira, ensuring data accuracy.

  • Create and maintain templates, processes, policies and the PMO SharePoint site under direction of the PMO Leadership team.

  • Support regular audits of project artifacts and processes to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and PMO best practices.

  • Generate various project reports, such as project master lists, project status slides, pipeline lists, status reports and dashboards, and Steering Committee, Portfolio, and ELT presentation decks.

  • Be a subject matter expert on project engagement and intake processes including guidance, training, and support on project management best practices, tools, and associated artifacts.

  • Lead issue resolution of escalated inquiries for internal stakeholders on project initiatives, tools, and reports; identify root cause and define actions to eliminate recurrence.

  • Support PMO Leadership in various data analysis activities, including project delivery performance and annual project planning initiatives.

  • Guide PMO staff on project cost management, including acting as a liaison between the PMO and Finance when appropriate.

  • Serve as a key project resource on PMO-sponsored continuous improvement initiatives. May also be able to manage certain PMO-Sponsored projects, depending on experience and skill set.
