Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
- Lead the efficient design, accuracy, quality and security of the configuration management database (CMDB); oversees the end-to-end sustainment process of configuration data within the CMDB
- Designs and oversee the implementation of improvements to existing configuration management processes and discovery schedules.
- Lead the Control Board (CCB) meetings with the CI Owners; publishes minutes and tracks action items. Additionally accountable for the developing and maintaining an effective Configuration Control Board (CCB) process to ensure effective governance and quality of the CMDB and supporting components.
- Design, develop and oversee service maps to define and document all IT services.
- Lead a number of cross-functional technical leads to define and develop service mapping definitions and required attributes to support all process dependencies. Oversee all service mapping data ensuring a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
- Accountable for all IT system onboarding processes ensuring completeness and accuracy of all system map and system mapping data in a timely manner.
- Lead the identification of problems as well as the design and delivery of identified improvements for CMDB proactively.
- Accountable for all audit and governance activities on the CMDB and coordinate audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.
- Regularly reviews and updates all CMDB audit and governance processes ensuring on-going accuracy, completeness and quality of data."
- Create materials and provide training and guidance across the Technology organization to facilitate knowledge sharing and adherence to Configuration Management processes.
- Responsible for developing on-going reporting to track and provide visibility into the CMDB. Oversee the CMDB dashboard reporting; delivers comprehensive ad-hoc reporting as required by multiple stakeholders to support critical dependencies.
- Continuously evaluates, modifies and creates KPI’s/KRI’s to monitor and report on the effective delivery of Configuration Management.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in information technology, system administration, information systems management or similar disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within a Configuration Management role
ITIL and/or other ITSM designation required - Experience with a recognized process and/or service-mapping framework.
- Proficient in TCP/IP networking and network infrastructure components
- Proficient in server, storage, and database components
- Proficient in leading projects or project steps and communicating progress/approach with technical and non-technical peers/clients.
