We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a Business Analyst to join our growing Team here at Holman UK. This role will be based out of our HQ in Chippenham with the opportunity for hybrid working. This is a contract opportunity.

🧭 Role Overview

Job Role: Business Analyst

Location: Chippenham HQ (Hybrid working available 3 days on site)

Day Rate: £600

Contract: 12 months

🛠️ What You’ll Do

  • Form part of the Supply Chain Transformation programme covering SAP, Kyriba, Workday Expenses and potentially BRIM/Leasing, acting as the bridge between business teams, SMEs, and technology teams.
  • Lead requirements elicitation (functional and non‑functional), analysis, prioritisation, and sign‑off, identifying business value and performing gap, impact, and root‑cause analysis where required.
  • Produce system, functional, and data‑flow documentation, mapping interactions, integrations, handoffs, constraints, inputs/outputs, and dependencies across applications.
  • Create clear as‑is and to‑be process and workflow diagrams, identifying value vs non‑value‑add activities, analysing processes, recommending improvements, and collaborating with QMS/Finance teams to publish approved documentation in the QMS library.
  • Evaluate technical options, make recommendations, and ensure alignment between business requirements, process design, and technical solutions.
  • Maintain full requirements traceability and change control throughout the lifecycle, ensuring adherence to standards.
  •  Support creation of test scenarios and UAT scripts, and assist with UAT coordination.
  • Identify, engage, and manage stakeholders, supporting the resolution of competing or conflicting requirements.
  • Support identification of business change impacts and related change‑management activities.
  • Work closely with UK Finance, the programme team, and all other impacted stakeholders.
  • Highlight and manage risks and issues, proposing mitigations and reduction strategies.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience working in a Global Organisation on multi workstream transformation programmes with substantial demonstrable experience of Business Analysis practices (including process mapping, requirements gathering, root cause analysis, solution review, work, systems documentation, Testing & UAT, change management), Project Management practices, supporting business change, system testing, and quality assurance.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong capability to work across functions, influence decision‑making, and collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Communicates clearly, listens actively, and responds effectively to customer needs.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation & communication skills.
  • Used to working in Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid projects and adapting to methodology/templating required
  • Experience working with Financial/HR systems like SAP, Kyriba, Workday and Fleet Management/Leasing would be an advantage.

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus.
  • Expert in using wide range of best practice analysis and modelling techniques to support activities
