What you’ll accomplish with us

As an Analyst, Group Insurance Administration and Billing, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Analyze and process various types of requests, simple or complex, in accordance with a defined learning path.

  • Understand and manage the application of different rules related to non-standard contractual provisions.

  • Ensure consistency and compliance of requests and received documentation.

  • Communicate with plan administrators or insured members to obtain the information required for the efficient processing of requests.

  • Provide administrative support to customer service agents as well as sales and services advisors/representatives.

  • Propose process improvements aimed at better serving clients, reducing costs and turnaround times, and increasing productivity; participate, as needed, in special projects or other tasks to support team objectives.

  • Participate in various team projects and perform other related duties as required.

Position Progression:

Level 1:
Analyze and process requests related to enrollments, changes in division, class and coverage, beneficiary management, terminations and extensions, salary changes, and certificate changes.

Level 2:
The Analyst must have developed strong critical thinking and advanced analytical skills to handle more complex requests independently, with limited exceptions. This includes analyzing and coding absences, managing claim-related coverages, administering access to the Client Portal, and contributing to various related tasks as needed.

Level 3:
The Analyst may obtain an “Experienced” Analyst certification by mastering the responsibilities of the first two levels. At this stage, the Analyst will share knowledge with less experienced analysts, participate in the peer review process, and contribute to tasks related to medical underwriting, insurance transformation initiatives, billing cycles, and certain specialized processes.

The development path within the Administration team is highly accessible. An Analyst who successfully reaches the third level of development may aspire to a higher compensation level through a Senior Analyst role. In this capacity, the individual will continue their professional development and contribute as a subject-matter expert, supporting and mentoring analysts in their day-to-day performance.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Stands out for their technical skills and fast data entry, with a keen attention to detail and quality, as well as excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly intermediate-level Excel.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical abilities and sound judgment, combined with excellent communication skills, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to manage priorities effectively.

  • Is recognized for their autonomy, availability, and a

    strong desire to grow and develop within the role. , demonstrating rigor, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
  • Holds a college diploma and has 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in both French and English, as the role requires daily oral and written communication with unilingual French- and English-speaking partners.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 47 544$ and 68 329$ CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
