Harris Williams (“HW”) seeks an Analyst to join the Financial Sponsor Coverage Team located in the Richmond, VA office.

Role
The Sponsor Coverage Analyst develops critical insights and analyses in support of senior Sponsor Coverage bankers and private equity (“PE”) client strategies. Responsibilities include:
Meaningful impact from the start: Analyze and manage HW proprietary data analyses, including buyer performance and behavior, valuation trends and observations, process dynamics, pitch activity, etc. and assist in funneling insights to both Sponsor Coverage and HW deal teams in preparation for client meetings
Diverse projects: Track private equity industry trends and broader macro-economic data to inform HW’s market insights. Leverage Excel and PowerPoint to prepare ad hoc analysis and client-ready materials, including peer comparison analyses, deal history, relationship updates, and qualitative insights in support of client meetings and origination activities.

You will also partner closely with HW’s data services and technology teams to help optimize and inform ongoing development of key reports, as well as ad hoc projects and firm analyses in support of HW firm leadership

Eligible candidates should be working towards or already possess a Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution
