POSITION OVERVIEW
The Analyst, Document and Data Management, is responsible for processing tasks related to data collection and data integrity, such as maintaining the Electronic Client Files (ECFs), the entry of financial statements in our systems and other similar tasks at BDC.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Preview and index documents sent by other service center employees before uploading them into the ECF, following established procedures to maintain document quality and accuracy.
Process requests for re-indexation of documents in ECF.
Review the financial statements received and validate the breakdown of the data in the various BDC systems.
Track outstanding items to ensure that available customer information is up to date (e.g., status receipt record, account relationship analysis, etc.).
Prepare and send letters to notify clients of their loan requirements (e.g., financial statement letter, credit note, etc.).
Complete simple service requests and annual reviews in files of $ 350,000 or less.
Ensure the timely processing of requests, while ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy.
Maintain good relationships with Business Centre staff, co-workers, and internal partners to foster good team spirit, the pursuit of common objectives and the consistent application of policies.
Keep abreast of changes detailed in policies, procedures, and processes, as well as trends in credit and regulatory matters that may have an impact.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any relevant field.
1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the financial sector.
Knowledge of products, services, policies and procedures in the banking sector (commercial loans), particularly in credit risk management.
Good organizational ability and ability to set priorities and comply with tight deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and diligently on a high volume of tasks.
Attention to detail, cooperative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Proven ability to show flexibility in order to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Proficiency using software tools and practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Bilingualism is mandatory (English & French)
The hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The incumbent must be flexible as the position’s schedule may vary and is on a rotation basis.
