About the Team:

The Revenue Operations team at AlphaSense drives productivity and improves efficiency for our account executives, account managers and sales development reps. We create and implement operational reporting & analytics, improve processes, and enable strategic initiatives that impact the revenue organization.  At our core, we are a dynamic team of highly driven self-starters who are passionate about operations and thrive in a fast paced, challenging environment.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic, and collaborative Deal Desk Analyst to support our sales teams in day to day execution of key deals. This role will serve as a partner to Account Executives and Account Managers; working with them to build quotes, execute contracts, and review redlines. The ideal candidate has experience working in a deal desk role for a SAAS company.

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience in deal desk or contract management in a SaaS or technology environment. 
  • Understanding of B2B commercial contracts and deal structures.
  • Experience working with CRM (Salesforce), CPQ tools, and contract management systems (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM).
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to pushback in challenging situations.  

What You’ll Do

  • Deal Structuring & Review
    • Help maintain team SLAs for timely changes 
    • Assist sales teams in designing quotes and contracts, including product bundling, and multi-year "ramp" deals.
    • Serve as the primary gatekeeper for non-standard terms, ensuring all necessary stakeholders (legal, accounting, finance) sign off on exceptions.
  • Support policy and compliance by enforcing "guardrails" regarding discounting levels, revenue recognition standards, and legal liability.
  • Work with sales enablement to train sales representatives on how to use Salesforce CPQ and Ironclad. 
  • Process Optimization: Identify "friction points" in the sales cycle and implement automation or workflow improvements to increase deal velocity.

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

Base Compensation Range
$67,000$84,000 USD
