Demonstrate experience in an information technology or analytical role
Develop interactive dashboards and data visualisations that help stakeholders easily interpret complex information.
Perform advanced data analysis, identifying trends, anomalies, and root causes to solve complex business problems.
Gather, analyse, and interpret data, presenting findings to the business in a clear and accessible format.
Write and optimise complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.
Collaborate with Product, Operations, Finance, and technical teams to address business challenges
2–3 years’ experience in Data Analysis and Data Visualisation, including the ability to interpret complex datasets and present insights clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as: Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics
Equivalent qualifications or certifications in Business Intelligence, Data analytics or Data visualisation will also be considered.
Hands‑on experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Grafana
Experience with Data visualisation platforms(Power BI, Tableau, Superset OR similar).
Data storytelling abilities(presenting insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders).
Advanced SQL queries.
Data analysis techniques(pattern detection, anomaly identification, and root‑cause investigation).
Strong Analytical skills (problem‑solving, logic, attention to detail, pattern recognition)
Core data concepts: data modelling, relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
A proactive, self‑starter mindset with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives.
Preferable knowledge of SSRS/SSIS but not essential. Optional: Python or R, cloud data platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Impact You'll Make:
The Analyst will play a key role in transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision making.
They will also conduct in depth data analysis to identify root causes, uncover patterns, and develop data driven solutions to complex business problems. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in writing advanced SQL queries, exploring large datasets, and identifying trends and anomalies that drive business understanding.
You will design and develop compelling data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Superset or similar, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and intuitive reporting.
As a self starter, the Data Analyst takes ownership of their workload, proactively identifies opportunities for analysis, and drives initiatives with minimal supervision.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.TransUnion Job Title
