Scope and Responsibilities
As Oaktree expands its management of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), we are seeking an individual to fulfill a middle office function to support the growth in our European CLO business. Responsibilities will include:
• Daily monitoring/reconciliation of compliance testing;
• Preparation of hypothetical test scenarios;
• Assisting in the monthly reporting process; including updating models, liaising with trustee on data/cash reconciliations and agreeing reports for release to investors;
• Working with internal groups such as Fund Accounting, Trade Support and Data Management throughout monitoring and reporting process to ensure accurate/timely deliverables;
• Understanding the CLO documents and outlining necessary compliance parameters;
• Testing internal compliance models for new/refinanced CLO transactions;
• Working with internal IT teams to develop improved processes and efficiency gains; and
• Ad hoc research and data requests
Experience Required
• 2+ years’ experience in compliance, middle office, and/or monitoring capacity in Financial Services
• Experience in reconciliation and/or trade settlements preferred
• Experience with Bloomberg, WSO/CDO Suite, Sky Road, S&P and Moody’s is highly desirable, but not necessary
