Analyst Clinical Informatics Systems

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Responsible for the definition, configuration, and development of core laboratory/hospital software solutions for designs of intermediate and moderate complexity.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Translates requirements into new solutions - Develops use cases, requirements, and specifications for new and existing system design.
• Performs Investigations - Participates in investigations to determine root cause for moderately complex issues that may cross multiple products. Arrives at timely conclusions. Maintain high customer service by assisting support with customer issue resolution and coordinate inclusion of customer issue resolution with product/project patches and releases.
• Solution configuration and documentation - Performs software installation and configuration, test laboratory workflows, creation and maintenance of business rules, verification of system and instrument interfaces. Generates input to service personnel.
• Obtains customer feedback for new and/or improve products - Provides and gathers inputs from internal and external sources and from members of the project’s cross functional team to achieve customer needs.
• Anticipates and/or develops /applies risk mitigation - Reviews technical risks and take appropriate action.
• Maintains adherence to quality system - Follows functional area policies and procedures.
• Implements activities for project.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) In Healthcare Informatics or medical related.
Experience/Background
Minimum 2 years
Requires strong analytical and communication skills as well as sound judgment and the ability to work effectively with internal team members, software developers, and customer.
