Citi’s Banking franchise is organized around three lines of business: Capital Markets and Advisory, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking. The unified Banking and International organization oversees the local delivery of the full firm to clients in each of the 95 markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence.


Citi's Capital Markets and Advisory team provides advisory, debt and equity capital markets solutions for corporations, governments and financial institutions.

Citi is currently recruiting for Analysts to join the Sydney team, with opportunities available across sectors.

Analysts provide essential support to senior team members in assisting clients with capital raising activities and contributing to strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and various financial transactions.


Responsibilities:

  • Support senior team members in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.

  • Collaborate with the Capital Markets & Advisory team to help deliver comprehensive client solutions.

  • Contribute to the development and presentation of investment strategies by preparing materials and conducting background research.

  • Actively learn about the Capital Markets & Advisory business and client needs to grow within the firm.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience

  • Degree in Finance or closely related area

  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with teams 

  • Demonstrated problem solving and organisational skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
