Job Summary:
Supports the resolution of PREB/Legal cases by leading cross-functional business process analysis, identifying operational gaps, and delivering data-driven solutions that enhance performance, compliance, and customer outcomes.Job Description:
Supports and represents LUMA Energy in legal cases before the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau (PREB), including case preparation, documentation, and coordination with the legal team. This includes subpoenas, court hearings, and Office of the Public Integrity and Compliance (OIPC) cases.
Collaborates cross-functionally with Customer Experience teams to gather case details, identify subject matter experts, and ensure accurate, timely responses that reduce customer effort and prevent escalations.
Documents account issues in Oracle CC&B, supports resolution efforts, and ensures alignment with LUMA tariffs, terms, and utility regulations.
Supports process improvement by identifying gaps, assessing risks, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and recommending changes to business processes and IT systems.
Compiles and analyzes data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for business decisions.
Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services
Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
Additional Job Description:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
Experience
3 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, process improvement, business strategic support (interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, forecast, statistical results) and other analytical functions.
Experience using business systems or analytic platforms
Experience with and knowledge of electric utility business processes and the IT (Information Technology) systems that support them.
Communications and presentation experience to senior leaders.
Leadership experience includes coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, business planning, resource planning.
Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions
High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions

Proficient skills in the use of computer applications (MS Office, SharePoint, Power Bi etc.).
Strong attention to detail as well as analytical and quantitative skills, such as statistics and data analysis.
