Job Summary:
The Balance Sheet Modeling and Analytics Analyst will support the development, enhancement, and execution of quantitative models and analytical frameworks across Liquidity and Asset & Liability (ALM) risk measurement and financial projection processes. The successful candidate will participate in the strategic modeling efforts for financial products that will help support and drive Treasury’s balance sheet analysis, modeling and optimization strategy.
Major Duties:
Work with the Director, Balance Sheet Modeling & Analytics, Treasury Modeling Lead and other Treasury Partners. Assist in the analysis and quantitative development of models, assumptions, and methodologies used for liquidity risk, ALM risk measurement, and financial forecasting. Contribute to the execution of key models and assumptions across Liquidity and Asset Liability Management including modeling of operational deposits, non‑maturity deposit behavior, deposits decay, asset prepayment assumptions, and related risk parameters Conduct ad-hoc analysis to aid senior management and executive committees in the decision-making process impacting product pricing, balance sheet analysis, optimization, and investment selection. Support the broader Treasury team by providing quantitative support in the build out of liquidity risk framework tools; liquidity limits calibration, early warning indicators, liquidity stress tests assumptions, and resolution planning scenario/assumption development, and interest rate risk measurement processes. Communicate financial issues in a clear and concise manner to senior management, internal oversight groups, and external regulators. Knowledge on global regulatory requirements and expectations that govern liquidity risk, interest rate risk, and modeling practices.
Knowledge:
Exceptional ability to organize and execute responsibilities
Experience with quantitative modeling tools, risk measurement frameworks, and financial analytics is preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in conveying complex metrics or modeling concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional settings and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to investigate, interpret complex data sets and develop clear, actionable insights.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access, SAS and/or Python
Experience:
Graduation or above degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Engineering or other quantitative fields is preferred.
4+ years’ work experience in data analytics, financial modeling working in a financial institution, regulatory agency, consulting firm or related field is required.
Demonstrated hands‑on experience in data analytics and quantitative model.
Experience with quantitative modeling tools, risk measurement frameworks, and financial analytics is preferred.
Shift Timing: 3:30PM to 12:30AM IST (Late EMEA)
