About our team
Fidelity's Analytics function in India supports the company's global Sales, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Customer Service, and HR teams. The function's main objectives include developing a deep understanding of customers, identifying sales growth opportunities, refining products and services, and developing market and competitive intelligence. The Analytics function works closely with business heads and senior stakeholders to identify areas of analytics, define problem statements, and develop key insights.

We are looking for an Analyst to join our team and help us with the following tasks:
• Analysis and Business Impact: You will use various data sources and methods to examine, interpret, and present patterns, trends, and insights that pertain to clients and stakeholders. Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that showcase our data analysis and model in a clear and compelling way
• Data Quality and Engineering: You will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data sources by implementing robust data validation and governance practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help establish standards and monitor data integrity across projects.
• Collaboration and innovation: You will partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, brainstorm analytical approaches, and deliver actionable insights. Your curiosity and creativity will contribute to developing new methodologies and best practices within the Analytics function.
About you
Experience & Qualifications required:
Bachelor's degree or above in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or related field
Minimum 2 years' experience in data analysis or data science
Skilled in Python, SQL, or other programming languages for data work
Experience employing various statistical modelling and data analysis techniques, such as linear / logistic regression, decision trees, affinity analysis, clustering/segmentation and time series forecasting
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
Enjoy building solutions and are comfortable writing codes and using tools such as KNIME, Alteryx
Experience in digital analytics using tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics
Experience in Customer journey analytics
Genuine interest in capital markets, financial industry, banking, future state of technology like artificial intelligence & machine learning
