The Role and Impact: As an Analog Circuit Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, transforming innovative concepts into high-performance analog circuits. Your expertise will drive the development of advanced process nodes for analog and mixed-signal IPs, enabling Intel's next-generation products to achieve exceptional performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement analog circuits for advanced process nodes focused on high-speed 112/224Gbps SerDes Design, including TX, RX and PHY clocking circuits. - Perform circuit design, parameter extraction, and analog behavior modeling to meet circuit and block microarchitecture specifications. - Create and execute test plans to validate functionality, reliability, and performance of designs, ensuring compliance with specifications. - Optimize circuits for power, performance, area, timing, and leakage while addressing trade-offs in circuit design. - Collaborate with architecture and layout teams to design circuits that deliver robust functionality and superior electrical capabilities. - Conduct detailed validation, including post-silicon testing and debug, and support high-volume production readiness. - Utilize industry-standard tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE simulators, and extraction tools for design and verification. - Continuously improve design methodologies and contribute to enhancing processes for greater efficiency and innovation. - Drive technical discussions, report progress, and resolve performance and design issues through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related specialized field. - Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with a Bachelor's degree or 4 years with a Master's degree in analog circuit design. - Proficiency in designing Analog/Mixed-signal circuits for 224Gbps/112Gbps SerDes PHY. - Demonstrated capability in using EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE simulators, and extraction tools like DRC, LVS, and post-layout verification. - Expertise in CMOS technologies and I/O fundamentals. - Experience with circuit simulation methodologies and tools. - Ability to develop circuits optimized for performance, power, area, and yield. Preferred Qualifications: - Strong fundamentals in circuit trade-offs, including power optimization and reliability-aware design. - Experience in post-silicon validation and debugging of pre/post-silicon issues. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL for design automation. - Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements related to high-speed I/O interfaces. - Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments, solve complex technical challenges, and lead innovative design initiatives.
