About the role

The Analyst will report to our QC Support & Systems Supervisor in our Aprilia Site.

The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the implementation of an advanced materials identification system based on Raman technology.

The analyst will play a key role in creating and validating the materials identification library and supporting the validation and optimization of analytical methods, ensuring accurate and reliable identification of raw materials.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of Raman spectroscopy technology for material identification across production and quality control processes.
  • Develop, validate, and optimize Raman analytical methods, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards, performing routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials and intermediates using Raman spectroscopy.
  • Troubleshoot instrument performance, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure proper calibration of Raman equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret Raman spectra, preparing detailed technical reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality Control, Sampling Area and Warehouse) to integrate Raman technology seamlessly into workflow and data systems and train operators and QC personnel on Raman instrument use, data interpretation, and standard operating procedures.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Raman spectroscopy or other vibrational spectroscopy techniques (FTIR, NIR, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and spectral data interpretation.
  • Familiarity with GMP guidelines, laboratory quality systems, and validation principles.
  • Experience with spectroscopy software tools for data acquisition and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
