The AMO Technician - Electromechanical you would be responsible for Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and perform individual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.
As a AMO Technician - Electromechanical, you will be responsible for:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, parts lists & follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
- Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
- Persuades senior business management to change structures, roles, ways of working.
- Ability to gauge a multi-layered department and to lead team in developing and implementing a midterm plan.
- Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment
- Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
- Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Proficient in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
- Technical diploma or associate’s degree in electrical or mechanical field with advanced computer skills.
- Versed in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits and electro-mechanical devices.
- Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes.
- 2+ years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function or relevant industrial experience in airline, military, oilfield, automotive, electronic sectors.
- Ability to present a clear and compelling vision on strategy, business and support of own unit.
- Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
- Advanced skills in soldering and assembling of electro-mechanical devices
