The AMO Technician - Electromechanical you would be responsible for Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and perform individual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.


As a AMO Technician - Electromechanical, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, parts lists & follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
  • Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
  • Persuades senior business management to change structures, roles, ways of working.
  • Ability to gauge a multi-layered department and to lead team in developing and implementing a midterm plan.
  • Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment
  • Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
  • Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation. 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Proficient in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
  • Technical diploma or associate’s degree in electrical or mechanical field with advanced computer skills.
  • Versed in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits and electro-mechanical devices.
  • Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes.
  • 2+ years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function or relevant industrial experience in airline, military, oilfield, automotive, electronic sectors.
  • Ability to present a clear and compelling vision on strategy, business and support of own unit.
  • Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Advanced skills in soldering and assembling of electro-mechanical devices
