As a Technical Data Engineer, you are not just writing manuals; you are the Guardian of Safety. You bridge the gap between complex engineering design and the mechanic on the tarmac, ensuring that every maintenance procedure is executable, compliant, and safe. Your documentation is the final authority before a rotor turns.

🎯 The Mission:

To develop, deliver, and maintain the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) throughout the aircraft life cycle, ensuring the fleet remains airworthy and operationally efficient. You will act as the critical interface between the Design Office and the Customer, analysing engineering data to create precise compliant maintenance instructions.

🚁Experience on:

Trigger (ECP/CR/MITB/TN/SB/ASB) analysis, validation and incorporation in the technical documentation, complying with civil specification applicable,

Developing, through the technical knowledge of the A/C configuration systems, the necessary capabilities to create and contribute to the maintenance concept definition and creation, verification and validation (V&V) of the technical documentation,

Ensure quality, consistency, completeness and on-time delivery of the technical documentation deliverables related to AHEs designated workshare,

In the frame of Tech Data harmonization, workflow between engineering/Tech Data and IPC / Maintenance Manuals, identify gaps between AH / AHD processes and proposes recoveries,

Design Office interface (from source data needs definition to the source data collection and analysis to check consistency and completeness,

Impact analysis, authoring and verification/validation of technical data products (parts catalogue) in compliance with international standards to enable the accomplishment of safe and efficient aircraft maintenance and operation. Manage completeness and compliance to airworthiness, legal regulations for Tech Data,

Provide expertise on the documentation specification to the authors in order to secure the production to be compliant with design standards,

Follow Up on Subcontractor Issues / Work Packages / Topics, Point of Contact,

Reporting work progress and escalation of critical issues for arbitration and follow up and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

Blocking point analysis and resolution, solving issues that could stop the production,

⚡ Key Responsibilities & Success Metrics:

At least 2-3 year of technical experience in aeronautical sector: especially in Aircraft Maintenance, ILS, Production Engineering, Airframes Design or experience with Warehouse, Procurement and other departments to optimize processes, Knowledge of Windchill and SAP. Pure Technical profile. Background in technical problems solving, trouble-shooting, spare definition and maintenance concept.

Core Execution (AMM Lifecycle): Coordinate and pilot AMM authoring activities per contractual commitments. You will define the consequences of design changes (Modifications, Service Bulletins) on the AMM to enable safe operations.

Produce and validate Data Modules complying strictly with specifications, ATA standards, and Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE100) to avoid ambiguity in safety-critical tasks.

Customer Support (AOG Response): Provide rapid solutions to customer requests (Technical Events/Queries) with appropriate documentation updates, managing high-pressure situations such as Aircraft On Ground (AOG) scenarios.

🎓 The Profile:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical field.

Tech Stack (Hard Skills):

Proficiency in ATA specifications (Essential).

SAP and Windchill (PLM-CorePDM) knowledge for configuration management.

Arbortext Epic (Editor) and CATIA (for 3D verification).

Google Suite, ATOOL, BFLOW and ICN Tools Box

Domain Expertise: 3 to 5+ years in the Technical Data domain, specifically with strong experience in AMM authoring, technical problem solving, and maintenance concept definition.

Soft Skills:

Analytical Rigor: Ability to analyse complex design inputs and propose synthetic solutions.

Flexibility: Adaptability to urgent customer needs.

Communication: Assertive communication skills to negotiate with the Design Office and Subcontractors.

Value creation oriented, initiative and proactivity.

Languages:

English: Advanced/Fluent (B2+ Negotiation level) is mandatory.

German: Desirable/Valuable.
