Job Summary
Reporting to the Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Manager, this role is responsible for delivering and supporting clinical ambulatory pharmacy services across Saint Joseph Health System. The Ambulatory Care Pharmacist is committed to providing excellent patient care, optimizing clinical outcomes, and delivering exceptional customer service.
This position plays an active role in promoting departmental excellence, maintaining high standards of quality and satisfaction, and contributing to team development. The pharmacist also assists leadership in selecting, developing, and supporting a high-performing clinical team.
Job Specifications & Core Competencies
Education
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
Licensure
Must hold a valid Indiana pharmacist license or be a graduate of an accredited school/college of pharmacy with current Indiana licensure as a pharmacy intern.
Experience
Completion of PGY‑1 and PGY‑2 residency training with emphasis in Ambulatory Care preferred.
In lieu of residency, a minimum of five years of ambulatory care pharmacist experience is required.
BCPS or BCACP certification preferred.
