Purpose within the Organization:
Administration, event planning & implementation. This position supports the Sr. Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving and the Asst. Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
- Utilize project management software to track departmental events & projects
- General office administration support such as data entry, alumni & donor communications
- Respond to Alumni questions via email and phone
- Assist in planning and implementing events
- Assist with research
- Tabling at events such as commencements, home Men’s Basketball tailgates, Homecoming, Parent & Family Weekend, etc.
- Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Full-time, degree-seeking GCU student
- Experience planning and implementing events
- Experience utilizing Asana or similar project management software
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work some nights and weekends
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
