The Role
The position will play an important role in alumni engagement campaigns and activities, which include, but are not limited to, the graduation campaign, networking events, professional development series, online showcase, and off-site tours. This role requires strong design, communication & event management skills, and the ability to navigate among different stakeholders, ranging from high-level alumni, internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
Reports to: Deputy Manager, Alumni Relations (SG)
Your Responsibilities
Plan and deliver a range of alumni engagement activities, which include high-level inter-campus administrative support, event planning, and other tasks as required.
Produce artwork and compose content for printed publications and digital communications
Prepare the logistics and manage events for the online and offline events, with other admin tasks.
Collaborate with partners and internal teams to develop and deliver alumni engagement activities (including but not limited to events, workshops, and social activities).
Key Selection Criteria
A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in marketing, communication, or event management.
Demonstrated high-level communication skills, written and spoken (both English and Vietnamese).
Sound knowledge and experience in using computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other digital platforms/tools such as Mailchimp, Zalo, and Canva. Adobe Illustration & Facebook Business Manager are pluses.
Experience in interpersonal, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills in working with vendors, internal and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team environment.
Well-developed planning, organisational, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate and/or deliver results punctually.

English Proficiency
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS General 6.0 (or equivalent CEST 160).
