The Alternatives Solutions VP will play a key role in partnering with clients to design, structure, and deliver integrated solutions across public and private markets. This role goes beyond traditional product management, focusing on understanding complex client objectives, operating models, and data needs, and orchestrating State Street’s full platform to deliver differentiated, outcome-driven solutions. The role will work closely with Sales, Relationship Management, and product teams to support strategic client engagements and drive sustainable commercial outcomes under a One State Street approach.

What you will be responsible for
As Alternatives Product Management & Solutioning – Global Alternatives, Vice President, you will
Act as a solution partner to clients, helping translate investment strategy, operating complexity, and growth objectives into integrated, scalable servicing and data solutions.
Support the structuring and solutioning of complex client mandates spanning public and private markets, including multi-asset, multi-entity, and multi-jurisdictional engagements.
Leverage State Street’s enterprise capabilities across Global Alternatives, State Street Research, Global Markets, CRD Software, Alpha Data Platform, and core fund administration, treasury, and custody to build cohesive client solutions.
Collaborate with Sales and Relationship Management to develop client-specific value propositions, solution architectures, and proposals that clearly articulate commercial and operational benefits.
Serve as a connective layer between client needs and internal product, technology, and operations teams to ensure solutions are deliverable, differentiated, and repeatable.
Contribute to the evolution of alternatives solution frameworks, playbooks, and go-to-market strategies based on client feedback and market trends.
Maintain a strong understanding of private markets operating models, data challenges, and regulatory considerations to proactively support client conversations.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
8–15 years of experience in asset servicing, alternatives, investment operations, solutions, or product roles with direct client exposure.
Strong understanding of private markets and their integration with public market portfolios and enterprise operating models.
Proven ability to work across multiple business lines and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Client-facing mindset with the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear, outcome-oriented narratives.
Commercial acumen and experience supporting revenue-generating or strategic client initiatives.
