Seeking a Japanese Speaking Custody Employee to join our Custody & Securities Services business team as a maternity cover with a fixed-term contract of approx. 18 months. The successful candidate will play a role in delivering high-quality custody services, supporting clients, and ensuring accurate execution of daily operational activities in line with internal policies, procedures, and control standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and professional response to custody-related client inquiries and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of client information and documentation
  • Execute daily custody activities in accordance with established procedures and controls
  • Coordinate closely with internal operations teams to ensure smooth and consistent service delivery
  • Support service quality monitoring and operational performance reviews
  • Prepare internal reports and maintain required records and documentation
  • Identify and escalate operational risks or errors in a timely manner
  • Provide team backup support as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous experience in a custody, securities services, or similar financial services role is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Language Requirements

Fluency in Japanese and English is essential.
