Job Mission:
Alteration development manager is a strategic and operational role ,to architect, develop, and lead CHANEL's alteration strategy in China. This involves building a world-class, standardized alteration ecosystem that upholds the brand's legacy of craftsmanship, delivers an exceptional "perfect fit" client experience, and directly supports the growth and prestige of the Ready-to-Wear (RTW) business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define Long-Term Strategy: Develop and execute the multi-year (2025-2028) alteration ambition, including headcount planning, budget forecasting, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Alteration Service Enhancement: Lead the enhancement of alteration services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Team Development: Build and develop a skilled alteration team, providing training and support to ensure they can deliver exceptional alteration work.
- Standardization and Process Optimization: Optimize alteration processes to improve efficiency and reduce Leadtime time while maintaining the alteration quality standards.
- Alteration Training Programs: Co-Build local Alteration Training curriculum in partnership with Learning, RTW team and define needs for global / regional seminars, Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for alteration staff, covering both technical skills and client service aspects to ensure they can handle complex alteration requests and provide excellent service.
- Deploy New Alteration Techniques: following global guideline to introduce new alteration techniques and technologies that can enhance the quality and range of alteration services offered, keeping the brand at the forefront of craftsmanship innovation.
- Hub and Les Atelier Management: Oversee the management of alteration hubs and Les Ateliers, ensuring they are well - organized, efficient, and provide a premium client experience during the alteration process.
- Act as part of Global Community of tailor ambassadors and relay messages locally regarding Alteration in general and for each collection
