Alpha End to End Solution Architect (Business Analysis), VP

Who we are looking for

The State Street Alpha team is seeking a highly qualified End to End solution architect to drive solutions for our clients across all aspects of our Alpha Front to Back platform. Applicants should have a proven track record of understanding and aligning client requirements with enterprise solutions by collaborating with wider stakeholders including global business architects and product leads to identify business solutions that meet client and product outcomes. Applicants should be comfortable working in a high growth, complex, fast paced environment helping to drive the firm’s strategy and Alpha product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of solution and architecture design through both the sales and implementation process
  • Capture and document business requirements from clients, product management teams, implementation and operations teams, and third-party vendors to support strategic projects
  • Document and/or diagram system and process flows to record critical components and represent them in a schematic diagram
  • Ensure client requirements fall within our agreed offering, or alternatively, ensure these are flagged and presented at our change control forum and Alpha Design Council.
  • Support implementation programs to identify and solution deliverables arising during the implementation of the target state model and operational workflows
  • Establish a framework for identifying non standard requirements and driving solutions that align client needs with Alpha product development & capability
  • Ensure client sign-off is obtained and tracked for all requirements
  • Co-ordinate delivery across functional areas to deliver solutions, standardizing and driving product development where possible
  • Work across the end-to-end lifecycle bringing the relevant teams and stakeholders together on our project deliverables
  • Build out a Solution Architecture team in APAC that can support multiple concurrent sales initiatives and implementation programs

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of front office systems, middle office and data management
  • Extensive operational experience working with a broad range of security types including complex derivatives
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end investment management cycle 
  • Degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant experience within the financial services industry  
  • Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Agile software development, Systems Thinking, and/or professional services is an asset
  • Willingness and ability for potential travel

Prior experience with State Street and the Alpha platform is a plus
