About the Role
You will work within the Young Adult Complex Disabiliity Service (YACDs), Polio Services Victoria (PSV) and the Barbara Walker Centre for pain management (BWCPM). You will provide both clinical support and administrative assistance to the allied health therapy staff including:

About the Health Independence Program
Health Independence Programs (HIP) improve and maintain a person’s optimal independence within the community and support clients’ health needs.
The Barbara Walker Centre for Pain Management is within the Pain stream; The Young Adult Complex Disability Service and Polio Services Victoria are within the HIP Disability Stream. All three are state-wide services, providing multi-disciplinary care to patients with persistent pain; young adults with a complex disability transitioning into the adult health care system; and patients with a history of poliomyelitis. Depending on the service, patient care may be delivered within the hospital outpatient clinic, regional health services, rehabilitation gym, hydrotherapy pool, at home, or in their local community.
