About the Role
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an AHA to join the Community Rehab Team on a permanent basis. The Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant will provide and deliver high quality person-centred, goal-orientated home and centre-based community rehabilitation within a supportive multidisciplinary team. There will be clinical and administrative components to the work.
Classifications for this position will be Allied Health Assistant Grade 2 (IN29).
Your Contribution
Allied Health Assistant Certificate (as defined by the Health and Allied Services Award) or equivalent health related education
Experience working with a team of allied health professionals
Demonstrated sound knowledge of patient and own safety
Current Driver’s licence
Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain

About Health Independence Programs (HIP)
Health Independence Programs (HIP) – Rehab & Clinics: are a group of services that provide time-limited, goal-orientated care for people who have a disability, are frail, chronically ill or recovering from injury or illness to regain optimal function.
These include the Community Rehabilitation Service, Rehab in the Home, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Specialist Clinics including the Continence; Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS); and the Falls & Balance Clinic.
The Community Rehab Teams operate from our Kew and Fairfield sites.
