Alcohol Compliance Supervisor - RBC Amphitheater

Position Overview:

This is a part-time seasonal position at the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario. Employment will last until early to mid October and the hours will vary each week. Shifts are usually on evenings and weekends, with a few full day events scheduled. Must be able to work all event days/evenings when needed. Under the direction of Management, The Alcohol Compliance Supervisor ensures responsible service of alcohol throughout the venue in accordance with AGCO and company policies. This individual will assist staff with any alcohol related issues, observe and document any alcohol related issues and monitor employees’ adherence to the Legends Alcohol Policy.

Listed are some of the key responsibilities and duties required of a Alcohol Compliance Supervisor.

  • Supervises the serving of alcohol for the whole venue.
  • Follows all responsible alcohol service guidelines and ensures the team is adhering to all alcohol service guidelines as required by AGCO and in accordance to Legends’ policies and standards.
  • Observe, document, and report all alcohol related issues, violations, pass-offs and suspected Guest intoxication.
  • Perform ID checks on Guests.
  • Supports Legends’ employees with alcohol related Guest issues, including stopping of service.
  • Assist with alcohol cut-off 30 minutes prior to closing or determined by Management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Smart Serve and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous alcohol service experience or alcohol compliance experience an asset.
  • Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, organized and have the ability to prioritize as needed.

pay rate: $25.50 per hour
