The Role
To lead cross-functional teams providing direction and coordinating the delivery of Aladdin / LTIM focused programme and projects to implement, enhance, and support critical bespoke investment related software products and data services while delivering maximum business value, in alignment with strategic priorities.
Principal Accountabilities
Responsible for the delivery, support and maintenance of bespoke investment related software products and data services for LTIM and the wider Corporation stakeholders of the Aladdin platform and associated technology components.
Lead the development, support and overall delivery of prioritised software change initiatives.
Work with project teams, customers and other stakeholders to collaboratively identify and clearly define business requirements.
Drive the delivery of effective solutions that address business requirements.
Continually challenge team practices to embed those that better align with software development principles.
Act as a Change Agent, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure that solutions continue to align to business goals as they evolve and develop.
Define and embed security considerations and other non-functional requirements in software solutions from scoping through to implementation, underpinned by appropriate testing and QA throughout delivery cycle.
Drive future product roadmap representing the interests of the business.
Skills
Experience with BlackRock Aladdin from an Investment / Portfolio Management / Asset Allocation / Operational / Compliance focus
Technical expertise regarding Investment data / data models

Product/software development

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
