Key Responsibilities

  • Leads continual improvement projects and drives innovation for digital tools. Globally the AIX Field Service Engineer serves as the main point of contact for customer site digital tools.
  • Internally communicates difficult concepts and persuades others with differencing viewpoints.  
  • Recommends best practice for troubleshooting to team. Leads troubleshooting efforts using digital tools. 
  • Provides feedback to digital package owner on content and best practice. Implements and tests solutions for new issues. 
  • Provides mentoring on specific troubleshooting. Highly knowledgeable in various tools and systems. Knowledgeable in advanced modeling techniques and BKM.

Functional Knowledge

  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines. Have in depth knowledge of Applied' s digital products and applications.
  • Have good understanding / knowledge of Equipment and Fab Operations.

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
