Who are looking for?

As an Alternative Investment Services (AIS) Private Equity and Reals Assets Fund Accounting & Administration Supervisor you will be a part of our team responsible for reporting for our Private Equity or Real Assets fund clients. You will be responsible for review of all PERA Fund Accounting processes to ensure all clients’ reporting is prepared with the highest quality and accuracy in a timely manner.

We are looking for a committed candidate who as a part of Alternative Investment Solutions will collaborate with other departments to find new solutions for complex business challenges, who is open for improvements and who can take advantage of opportunities.

The successful candidate will need to take initiative, exercise independent thinking, maintain an excellent and interactive relationship with team members, global business partners and, most importantly, our clients.

Your new role

As AIS Private Equity & Real Assets Fund Accounting & Administration Supervisor, Senior Associate you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing daily PERA Fund Accounting processes (Cash Bookkeeping and Cash Reconciliations, accounting for accruals, prepayments and valuations, Period End Reporting including NAV Calculations)

  • Reviewing associates work

  • Providing excellent client service

  • Directing interactions with both clients and business partners in Home Sites

  • Promoting risk awareness, assessment and control within team

  • Participating in system testing and implementation of improvements

  • Delivering trainings

  • Providing regular feedback to manager and more senior colleagues

What we value

Must have requirements

  • 2-3 years of Private Equity accounting experience required to respond to client queries and discuss accounting treatments

  • Comprehensive knowledge of double entry bookkeeping

  • Understanding of different Private Equity fund structures like Fund of Funds, Infrastructure, Private Credit or Direct Investment Funds

  • Ability to properly analyze Limited Partnership Agreements and accurately account for all Private Equity specific transactions like capital calls and distributions, management and performance fees, income and expenses, monthly and quarterly valuations

  • Ability to calculate Net Asset Valuations and Investor Allocations of various Private Equity and Real Assets vehicles.

  • Good command of English

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work with deadlines

  • Attention to detail, analytical skills

  • Ability to work on your own initiative, develop solutions and provide an input which enable to make the effective decisions, ownership

Nice to have requirements

  • Experience with property review accounting like: Net Assets, Operating income, Depreciation check, Fixed Assets

  • Experience with Investor/InvestAI/Geneva/ARO and Report Wizard reporting

  • Experienced in preparing general ledger and financial statements

  • Knowledge of Investran

  • Finance, Accounting, Business Degree would be an asset


Work organization requirement:

  • The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office

Minimum Salary:

zł87,000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
